Mathematical science in war 

          Some mathematical thoughts & mathematical technology are vital in war. How algebra is useful to calculate equations of weapons & soldiers? How geometry is beneficial to study to set targets of explosions? How do you see mathematics in war perspective Or war in mathematical perspective ? When enemies are five & you are one, how does your mathematical mind work towards solving this problem? Such mathematics has for centuries been stimulated, financed & credited by military purposes. How do you see towards interaction between mathematics, war & weapons ? 
          Let's trace the history first. Suppose, you are resourceful and living in peace and prosperity then, why do you need war? Understanding the reasons of war, man shows propensity towards war either for peace or for acquiring hold. The global flows of war format appear to occur with different physical & mental dimensions. First, man's weapon was only what he has his hand & legs with full potency. Then, eventually, he discovered use of solo wood & stone & combination of both wood & stone for making weapons. Initially, he was using these weapons for hunting & self-defense from attack of wild animals. The time when he got to introduce to metals, his army & weapons became stronger than ever before. And here comes, navigation. The navigation which changes whole picture in 360 degree view. Man, a social animal is fundamentally a traveler. Traveling itself introduced him all new opportunities, explorations, inventions which dirives his both curiosity & insecurity. Through greediness & insecurity, he keep planning new strategies for war with the help of mathematical science, psychology & environment. Those who having inventions & investment started to win war easily. In history, we have its evidences. For example, in Indian medieval history, how mughal invasions with variety of weapons & How inventions helped western travelers for long distance travelling to extend their national boundaries. If you observe, then you will see, WWI is about old fashioned armament. WWII is about that Manhattan project, the creation of atomic bomb. If one wants to define it in scientific language, WWI can be called as chemist war & WWII can be called as physicists war. From 18th century, there is continous maximum scientific effort in total war to win it or sustain in it at any cost. You will see this experience of war is of general validity for the scientific technological revolution.
         But lack of required mathematical literacy for war is like brain with no thinking power. Navigation was one of the driving forces behind the development of new computational techniques, including the invention of logarithms. See, how mathematical science is & was as essential constituent in the productive capacity of society. Mathematics is important as science, theory & tool of application. All forms of geodesics & their basis of trigonometry, logarithms & instruments of analogue computing were fundamental to military industries work on coding machines, optimal control & mathematical modeling. Its phenomenal to study how mathematics influenced the character and performance of modern warfare, weapons and military industry? Will mathematics of war help to detect format of future wars? The analysis done by climbing the ladder of historical steps shows that applied mathematics and innovations are intertwined, interlinked & interdependent to take war at new platforms.
